
Flounder, sea trout, mullet and reds! The waters near Salt Run are filled with fish for you to catch.
Lined with grassy dunes and oyster beds, the east bank of Salt Run is a popular fishing spot. Trout is the primary catch, although reds and flounder are also abundant. Waters off the north end of the park are also prime fishing positions.
The fishing area on Salt Run features a monofilament disposal bin and a fish-cleaning station. Frozen bait for purchase can be found at Anastasia Watersports, including sand fleas, finger mullet, shrimp, and squid.
All fishing within the park must conform to regulations concerning size, number, method of capture and season.
